BAD SERVICE. REALLY UNFAIR TO ASIANS. I need to highlight this because we were told the bigger seats were reserved AND IT'S NOT TRUE. the staff were hiding inside the shop after they cleaned the table. I need to walked in and called them out to inquire on the reason why we were not given the empty table (no people behind us). 10 minutes later, there were 4 people behind us and another staff approached us, asked us to SHARE the EMPTY TABLE. Apple highball is good but gyoza is slightly salty and osaka apple sour is not really up to par. please be honest when doing business, good luck to you.

Excellent vegan ramen in the heart of dotonbori. They even have a separate veg menu. The good part was it was open till 12.30 and the service was really friendly in English.

We wanted gyoza and it was a little late at night. We found Gyozaoh was a short walk from the hotel. We got the kara-age, fried and boiled gyoza. Everything was tasty and also inexpensive. The staff was extremely energetic and friendly, even late at night. They had an English-friendly menu and it was easy to order. They also accepted credit cards.

Gyozaoh! Was amaziiiiing! Super fast service, friendly staff, and clean restaurant. Our food was delicious (we had to do another round of fried and boiled gyoza) and the chef was so welcoming and pleasant. I highly recommend this place

Slightly expensive and food portion given is a little small. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

We had three hours to spend in Osaka and I’m so glad we ended up here. I’m a mackerel lover; their pickled mackerel was out of this world good. Fish broth ramen and homemade apple vinegar soda were delicious. Sake glasses filled above the brim. Allergens/ingredients list was very helpful. Super friendly and attentive staff.

Found this place on TripAdvisor (with 4.5 stars), looking for nearby gyoza. It had an English menu and vegetarian options. We got a bunch of different gyoza, some small sides, some potatoes, fried cheese, and takoyaki. All of it was pretty adequate. Certainly nothing bad, but honestly, I've had better in Seattle even. We had a cramped spot at the entrance, and they put a space heater there for us, which was appreciated. The service was perfectly nice, and the food was decent, but it's a bit pricey for the quality. Humorously, most of the people in there were white/foreigners (not Japanese), and I wonder if they all found it by TA. It was not a 4.5... so... Don't trust TA for foodie advice...

What an amazing place. Outstanding gyoza , super special drinks - you have to try the lemon sour and such great service. Came back twice on my visit to Osaka. A must visit! Super fun vibe!

Very delicious food, friendly staff, quick service, and good variety of food. We decided to eat here after walking past it and seeing how popular it was. The menu is great, there is a wide range of dishes to choose from, so you can try different things. It’s not too expensive. Very good experience overall!

If you are a vegetarian visiting Japan, this is the place for you. One of the best vegetarian Gyōzas I got to try in Japan. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. 10/10

We ordered 3 types (normal/boiled/deep-fried) gyoza are good, fried chicken is superb. To my taste, its on the salty side compare to other food we eat in osaka, so don't put too much soy sauce or salt on the gyoza on first try

Off the main Dotonbori street with GREAT GYOZA. If it weren't so expensive (like 300pesos for 6pcs i think) I would've gotten lile 10 orders

We were hungry and getting late, either the restaurants nearby were too expensive, smoking or not foreign experienced. We went inside Gyozaoh and the staff greeted us like we were old friends, and very welcoming! Felt like we ordered everything on the menu, and everything was delicious! I give the food 5 stars out of 5 and the staff 10 stars, a wonderful experience! We ate there twice, both times excellent!

Casual gyoza joint with amazing vibe and friendly staffs! This place is located in a quiet street compared to other parts of Dotonbori. I highly recommend their pan fried dumplings and lemon sour! They also have a selection of other side dishes and vegetarian choices which are also very delicious!

The best Gyozaoh out of all places in Dotonbori. The atmosphere was great and all of the staff was very friendly the whole time making sure all of our needs were met. They also provide an array of plum wines and sake all from local producers. (Forgot to take pictures before we started). I would highly recommend the original with just sea salt added.

Finally somewhere that does vegetarian Gyoza in Japan! The food was delicious and I particularly liked their Shochu recommendation - the lemon drink was zesty and delicious. To all the vegetarians out there - this your go to spot in Dotonbori!

Came here twice on a trip to Osaka and it didn’t disappoint. The place seems pretty popular among Western tourists and the staff was very friendly in their interactions with us.Service was fast, food was excellent and the price is very reasonable compared to restaurants in North America. We tried the boiled, pan fried, and deep fried gyoza, plus the edamame and fried chicken. All were really good.

Fantastic food and environment, even though they don't have many tables. Service is always very quick, even when they are busy. You will find both locals and tourists in here, which is a good sign! Whenever I am in Osaka, I make a point of coming here.

Felt very unauthentic. Unfortunately I can’t comment on their signature dish but I had the vegetables gyoza it was super oily and just an average gyoza IMO. The other dishes we ordered were just OK nothing special, tasted very bland. The only positive is they speak English and have an English menu but I don’t recommend this place. The service wasn’t the best either- they forgot our drinks and it was hard to get their attention.

Gyozas were served hot. Ordered the pan fried and deep fried version. Personally preferred the pan fried ones as they are more juicy. Very tourist friendly with English menu. Worth a try if you are in the area but not good enough to visit the area just for this.

Ordered gyoza, miso soup, edamame, cucumbers, eggplant and the grilled onion, and a honey Yuzu sour. Everything was delicious- personal fave was the cucumber and the miso soup. Was really refreshing to have a few more veges for dinner! The price was very reasonable- maybe felt a little shortchanged on the onion, but not enough to take away the 5 star review this place deserves. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and really homely. English speakers need not fear as there is an English menu, although we did see some locals eating here as well, and on another occassion we saw a huge line outside with all sorts of people.A great introduction to izakaya style cooking for me and I look forward to many similarly great experiences

The gyoza (vegetarian menu very useful), cucumber salad and ginger ale were delicious and reasonable for the price. But what kept a smile on our faces long after I walked out was the very welcoming and energetic staff that spoke good English as well. Already thinking of coming back another time!
